Well the course is done and dusted. Great to see everyone on the mat. I can say it was a delight to teach everyone in what always proves to be an informative and good humoured atmosphere (which I feel is a kempo ethic). It was a great day and the feed back from everyone has been exceptional.
Thanks go out to Sensei David Hand for stepping on the mat after such a long time and showing a few techniques. Not only was it a pleasure to 'uke' for him, but feel the effects of the technique and hear those immortal words 'did I catch you'? LOL
Thank also to Sensei Katsu and Sensei Becky Till of Shuhari Karate Dojo for the hire of Stoke's best traditional dojo. My utmost respect to you and your students for your continued friendship, respect, and support. Domo Arigato Gozaimasu.
Finally thanks to everyone that attended. Much Respect.

The Longton Dojo is now closed for Chrimbo.
Sensei Dave Woodard has confirmed that it will back open on January 7th 2014.
Hope to see everyone recovered from the Christmas indulgence and back on the mat. So that leaves me to say
"みんなにクリスマスハッピー" or Happy Christmas to everyone.

Well people I have one more sequence of technique to finish, the Kime no Kata and the Manual is complete! I will being seeing Sensei Dave on Wednesday and tell him the Good News.
As previously mentioned there will be a short accompanying DVD to show a selection of various techniques and give some idea of how the techniques are perform and flow.
It goes without saying that these are for reference only and in no way should be attempted without the tuition and supervision of a good Sensei. (I know I shouldn't have to say this and is no reflection on any of you guys but there are still a few numpties out there that believe they can become a black belt from a book. So just covering the bases).
So if you're interested let me know so I can pass on the initial numbers to Sensei for the first print run.

Training night has now changed to Tuesdays. Jnrs 6-7pm and Snrs 7-8pm. Unfortunately this change clashes with my current work rota so it'll be the New Year before I can attend. But Sensei Dave and Sempai Steve will be there as usual next week. Hope everyone can attend and anybody that is free and looking for something to do Tuesdays please join us. All are welcome regardless of ability, grade or style. The more the merrier.
yours
Simon.
